“Hadi Nur” in nanoscale

Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) image of field emission induced surface modification of a word “Hadi Nur” on a Si(111) 7 x 7 reconstructed surface. Writing on a flat terrace by applying a continuous negative voltage pulse of 4.2 V for 0.1 ms. The image has a scan size of 45 nm x 75 nm. Thanks to Dr. Agus Subagyo of Hokkaido University. He made this name in 2001 during my visit to his laboratory at Hokkaido University.
