My name is Hadi Nur, and I am currently a Professor and the Head of the Integrated Laboratory at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), an adjunct Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), and a Guest Professor at Osaka University. Before joining UM, I worked at UTM from 1998 to 2022, starting as a postdoctoral researcher and eventually becoming a full professor for almost 12 years, which provided invaluable experience working in my home country.
As a professor, my responsibilities span teaching, conducting scientific research, supervising students, and serving as an editor for various journals. Additionally, I hold multiple academic, administrative, and research positions within the university. My blogging journey began in 1999, and since then, I’ve crafted 2,461 posts with 964,361 words. However, only my blog at hadinur.blog.um.ac.id is open to the public.
On a personal note, I am part of a small family, which includes three children. There is nothing to be particularly proud of in this humble journey of mine, yet every step has been integral in shaping who I am today. Should you wish to access my CV, connect with me directly, find specific information on this website, or arrange a meeting, please utilize the booking calendar provided.
Currently nurturing minds at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM) as a Professor with a rich past as a former Professor at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).
July 2023: My book, “The Philosophy of Science in Context: A Philosophical Interpretation for Indonesia Higher Education,” has been successfully published. This book aims to illuminate how philosophy can shape our understanding of science and demonstrate how this understanding can be applied within the context of Indonesia’s higher education system. I have served as the principal investigator for several research projects, and I strongly believe that the advancement of science and innovation can be expedited through the free sharing of information among scholars, scientists, and the wider community.
