“Through this website, I hope to share insights, resources, and research for fellow academics, students, and curious minds.”
My name is Hadi Nur, and I am currently a Professor and the Head of the Integrated Laboratory at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), as well as a guest Professor at the Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University. As an academic, my responsibilities include teaching, conducting scientific research, supervising students, and serving as an editor for various journals. In addition, I hold multiple academic, administrative, and research positions within the university.
My blogging journey began in 1999, though only my blogs at hadinur-blog.um.ac.id, daily reflections, and daily videos are publicly accessible. You can also find highlighted photos showcasing my activities.
On a personal note, I am part of a small family, which includes three children. There is nothing to be particularly proud of in this humble journey of mine, yet every step has been integral in shaping who I am today. [Research & Publications] I have served as the principal investigator for several research projects, and I strongly believe that the advancement of science and innovation can be expedited through the free sharing of information among scholars, scientists, and the wider community. A comprehensive list of my articles is available on this page.
[Daily Notes] This collection of short notes, originally written in Indonesian, reflects my daily experiences and observations of simple things around me. Through this site, I document and update meaningful moments in a more practical and organized way.

"Dosen dan Kesedihan Pascastruktural"
Di kampus, menjadi dosen saja tidak cukup. Harus menjadi “Dosen Agung”. Tidak hanya mengajar. Harus memelihara citra intelektual. Membaca teori. Mengunggah foto seminar. Mengeluh tentang “krisis epistemik pendidikan tinggi” sambil membuka laptop di kafe. Pengetahuan tidak lagi alat memahami realitas, tetapi penanda kelas budaya akademik. Sitasi menjadi simbol status. Jurnal Q1 menjadi mahkota sosial. Kalimat sulit dipahami sering dianggap lebih ilmiah daripada pikiran yang jernih.
Maka lahirlah ritual akademik. Dosen Agung takut terlihat biasa.
