Congratulations to Umar Kalmar Nizar, my Ph.D. student, for successfully defending his Ph.D. thesis. His Ph.D. research focused on controlling the local structure of titanium in silica-titania catalysts. Currently, he is a lecturer at the Department of Chemistry, Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia.
