University Presidents Forum [26-27 March 2009]

University Presidents from across the globe gathered at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia to attend and participate in the University Presidents Forum for Global Academic Network organised by UTM on March 26th to 27th, 2009. The forum is held in conjunction with UTM’s 42nd Convocation Ceremony.

With the theme ‘International Collaboration in Research and Academic Programs’, the aim of the forum is to provide a platform for university leaders to discuss current issues related to higher education and seek ways to improving collaboration and cooperation among the participating universities.

Among the University Presidents and top academics who will be present are from Howard University, Imperial College, London, Denmark Technological University, Curtin University of Technology, Meiji University, National University of Singapore, University of Newcastle, University of Queensland, Fatih University, International Burch University, Saraveyo, Istanbul University, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Monash University, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Sriwijaya, Universitas Bung Hatta, Mahidol University and Chulalongkorn University.

I wrote two papers on international academic and research collaborations for this forum.
