I was fortunate enough to find my geneology during my visit to Pamuatan (the place where my mother was born in 1933) in West Sumatera, Indonesia. This geneology is based on matrilineal social system embodied in the Adat Perpatih Laws since my ancestor was Minangkabau tribesman. This means that property is inherited through the female line. Our extended family has fields where rubber is the most important crop in these fields. I and my family also visited these fields at Pamuatan.
