Elegy for the Victims of the Tsunami of March 11, 2011 in Japan – Nobuyuki Tsujii

We don't need no education We don't need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers leave them kids alone Hey, teachers, leave them kids alone All in all it's just another brick in the wall All in all you're just another brick in the wall We don't need no education We don't need no thought control No dark sarcasm in the classroom Teachers leave those kids alone Hey teachers, leave those kids alone All in all you're just another brick in the wall All in all you're just another brick in the wall "Wrong, do it again! Wrong, do it again!" "If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?" "You, yes, you behind the bike sheds, stand still, laddy"
Guess it’s over, call it a day
Sorry that it had to end this way
No reason to pretend
We knew it had to end some day, this way
Yes, it’s over, the kids are gone
What’s the use of tryin’ to hang on?
Somewhere we lost the key
So little left for you and me and it’s clear to see
Too Much, Too Little, Too Late to lie again with you
Too Much, Too Little, Too Late to try again with you
We’re in the middle of ending something that we knew
It’s over
Oh, it was over
Too Much, Too Little, Too Late to ever try again
Too Much, Too Little, Too Late, let’s end it being friends
Too Much, Too Little, Too Late, we knew it had to end
Ah, it’s over
It’s over
Yes, it’s over, the chips are down (whoa)
Nearly all our bridges tumbled down
Whatever chance we try, let’s face it…
Nabi kita, Muhammad Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam umurnya cuma 64 tahun, tapi sampai sekarang sudah 1400 tahun masih seperti kemarin saja, hidup beliau menjadi sebutan siang malam. Inilah maksud yang dikatakan orang sesudah mati dia hidup kembali …”
Sungguh, musik ini sangat mengingatkan masa kecil saya. Saya menonton film ini setiap hari minggu pagi yang ditayangkan oleh Televisi Republik Indonesia (TVRI) di tahun 70-an dan saya menonton hampir seluruh serial ini di televisi.
The real things
I would take the stars
Out of the sky for you
Stop the rain from falling
If you asked me to
I’d do anything for you
Your wish is my command
I could move a mountain when
Your hand is in my hand
Words cannot express
How much you mean to me
There must be some other way
To make you see
If it takes my heart and soul
You know I’d pay the price
Everything that I possess
I’d gladly sacrifice
Oh you to me are everything
The sweetest song
That I could sing
Oh baby, oh baby
To you I guess
I’m just a clown
Who picks you up
Each time you’re down
Oh baby, oh baby
You give me just
A taste of love to
Build my hopes upon
You know you got
The power boy
To keep me holding on
So now you got
The best of me
Come on and
Take the rest of me
Oh baby
Though you’re close to me
We seem so far apart
Maybe…
“Feels So Good” is the title of an instrumental composition by the American flugelhorn player Chuck Mangione. It was written and produced by Mangione, and is the title track from his 1977 album.
The album version of “Feels So Good” runs almost ten minutes, but an edited (3 min 28 sec) version was released as a single in early 1978, which reached #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in June of that year after spending a week atop the Billboard easy listening chart in May. The recording was also nominated for a Grammy Award for Record of the Year at the ceremony held in 1979, losing out to Billy Joel’s “Just the Way You Are”. Mangione re-recorded the tune (as a slow ballad, and with lyrics sung by Don Potter) for his 1982 album 70 Miles Young. Mangione was quoted describing the editing of the original version of the track as “major surgery.”
